“Alex has the perfect combination of experience, skill and spark,” remarked Jen Aldinger, Partner and Director of Client Service at Response Labs. “Our clients expect us to be a smart, trusted partner. With Alex on board, our team is better equipped to trailblaze on our clients’ behalf.”
With stints at Under Armour, Money Map Press, and Alta Vista Strategic Partners, Alex’s career has spanned a variety of marketing functions ranging from client management to customer experience to digital analytics to content development. Her new role at Response Labs brings to bear her full set of skills as a client advocate, marketer, writer and SEO specialist.
“I’m excited to join a team that will help push me to be a better marketer and expand on my skills and allow me to work closely with clients to help them achieve their business goals,” Kagwima commented.
Alex’s advocacy extends beyond client service. She serves as the Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for AMA Baltimore. In this leadership position, Alex champions the transformation of Maryland’s marketing professional community, addressing the inequity in the industry and amplifying the voices of our black, brown, LGBQT+, and indigenous communities (BIPOC).
“Alex has made great strides with this board role since its inception in Summer 2020, working with the programming team to ensure diversity and representation among event speakers and working toward more inclusivity in our board and membership overall,” said Lauren Yoffe, President of AMA Baltimore and fellow member of the Response Labs client service team.
During her free time, Alex stays active as a midfielder on the soccer field and working out at Orangetheory Fitness. When life requires a little relaxation, she takes respite in her favorite reality shows—Real Housewives, Summer House and Below Deck.
